Baby paraphernalia

This blog was intended to cover all things cultural happening around Ukraine and that invariably inspire me. This post will veer away from the main theme to show is what comes out of this inspiration. Today it’s a series of small oils about objects that make it into our house.

oil on paper 12.5 x 9.5 cm. This painting one is the first in the still life series, was inspired by Duane Keiser at the Painting a Day blog.

red bucket oil on paper 12.5 x 9.5 cm. This red bucket has been laying under the dining table ever since the sandbox truck and all the paraphernalia made it into our apartment.

letter cube oil on paper 12.5 x 9.5 cm. This is the simplest in the set of letter cubes we got. They are obviously in Cyrillic.

The apricot still drips in paint, I have just done it today. As soon as I finished painting it, we shared it. oil on paper 6×5 cm.

Dear olechko. I loved your paintings! I really love the letter cube… have you seen the cute letter things on the kids playground at shevchenko park? Hard to explain but I want to take some photos one day when the sun isn’t glaring quite so much :)
