New artwork
This is the gray apartment block where I lived between 1990 -1998 – 37a Konyakina. When I started painting it, I realized it’s actually not gray but pink. The structure at front is a bus stop themed to look like the Lutsk castle. The people just came from the Warsaw bazaar and waiting for a bus to go to the outskirts.
35 x 45 sm oil on canvas
A new development in Gushcha – this is my mom’s silhouette – since the house sits at the very back of the village, she has to walk from marshrutka 15 minutes to get to the house. The dirt road can get nasty in bad weather and they wouldn’t make the roads yet since all around construction is still going on…

Wow! You CAN paint!;)
To an art layman like me, this looks like a fine piece of post-sotsrealism:)
And btw, has anybody told you that you look like Helen Hunt;)?
