Bell peppers

bell pepper, painting, red yellow green, stop light, rodchenko, exactitudes, nabil, selfridges

25×17.5 cm, oil on canvas paper, 2008

Bell peppers - work in progress- is my first oil sketch since we moved. The amount of fresh produce, that actually tastes real, makes me very very happy to be here. Our favorite pat time on weekends is going to the street markets to stock up on those. Love how Tesco packages its bell peppers in a stop-light fashion..

Alexandr Rodchenko is on show at Hayward gallery right now, a defining graphic design artist of Soviet (Russian) avant-garde.

My roommate Nabil got his picture taken for this art/fashion project Exactitudes now on show at Selfridgs. He is the Bengali gentleman in the cardi-clad, geek-chic boys section.

Please send your bid by email if you want to purchase this painting.

Looks grate in comparison with original ;) keep going on.

I’m waiting for some unreal/fantastic drawings too, make a break from classic art at least for one peace.

The exactitudes stuff is cool! I wonder if the ’scarf loving emo chicks’ realise that they had doppelgangers out there.
