Grazing sheep
26×18 cm, oil on canvas textured paper, 2008. These two we spotted at the Hackney City farm nearby our house. The place is unreal - a patch of rural in the middle of the busiest city. This helps us reconnect with our Lutsk roots, xo.
Please send your bid by email if you want to purchase this painting.

Hi, I’ve been reading your blog for a while and particularly liked your entries under your ‘Travel’ tag. I just came back from Lviv & Kyiv.
The reason I’m writing is; I see you have moved to London and my wife and I live in Hackney. If you need any help or advice on the area, we would love to help. I would also be interested in viewing your artworks first hand.
This is my blog with a couple of entries on Ukraine:

It seems strange to think I read your blog to pick up tips and impressions on Ukraine and you end up painting Hackney city farm down the road from where I live!
All the best,
Mike

Dear olechko. So cute! You guys need to take a day trip to Richmond Park and have a look at all the lovely deer there - I’m sure there’ll be lots of spotty ones seeing as it’s spring!

Hi, Mike, Loved your blog posts about Lviv and Kyiv. So happy to hear from someone on “this side” of our recent move. Will take up on your offer to get some advice on the good places in the area!
Mindthegap, since we are fishequarians, we don’t have such thoughts when looking at it
Ninaye, this is a first British joke that I actually got!
