In the field of strawberries
2008 oil on canvas 12,5×17,5 cm
There is this field outside of little village in the West Ukraine where strawberries grow wild (they are these tiny things, probably have their own proper name but I can’t think of it right now). This picture is an ultimate Ukrainian summer past time- picking berries and taking in the sun. Writing this while it rains in London third day in a row now, sigh.
This painting is part of my post-Soviet series. Please send your bid by email if you want to purchase this painting.
