These were gracing my mom’s table the other day. the only reason she’d get them is because they are locally (Crimea) grown. This is how I know melons and grapes are in season now. The glass plate on one leg has been around the house as long as I remember - very typical for presenting desserts. This painting is part of my post-Soviet series.
