We had a great weekend in London: crispy fall light and stark shadows, ruffling leaves. Got to see the concert at the ICA by the Sads – they play their melancholic sweet music straight into the headphones, so if you had none, all you get is the tapping of feet on the ground; really cool effect. Later on stopped by the Roundhouse at Covent Garden to sketch this two elderly couples (pic on the right) taking their pint pre- or post-theater. And then went on to Stanfords’s travel bookstore (pic on the left) to pick up some maps for the upcoming driving trip in Italy (yey!).
