Baby group meeting
2008 oil on panel 15×15 cm
Please email me your bid (starting at $75) if you’d like to own this piece.
This is an observation from my daily Kyiv life (from last winter, actually). The lovely ladies of International Women’s Club of Kyiv (well, those who had babies obviously) met up sometimes at the Kaiser Cafe at the Premier Palace for a play session and a chat. I purposefully chose for the pucture overly bright colors to make it more “baby-friendly”.
There is an interesting movie for all the women artists out there: Who Does She Thinks She Is (via FreelanceSwitch)

Thanks much for the comment on my blog Olha! I like your paintings, they have great compositions and values. I like the bright colors in this one, I don’t think they are over bright at all.
I use a painting knife, thats why my paint has all that texture.
Happy Painting!
