ING Discerning Eye exhibition this week
Art Hub UK has written in more detail about the judges, one (or more) of whom has chosen my little well painting for the upcoming ING Discerning Eye exhibition at the Mall galleries. The special opening event is on Wednesday 6-8 pm 12th November. Please contact me if you’d like to get the ticket for it, the rest of the show time 13-23 November admission is free 10am – 5pm daily. Besides there is going to be another group show opening in which I participate this week as well, more about it in the following posts.

Hi,
Really great work. I have just found urban scketchers, so many great artists! I really liked your work, I am going to try to get down to see the discerning eye exhibiton! – Well done for getting in, I feel really inspired to start sketching Ipswich (where im from). Anyway, look forward to seeing more,

Congratulations Olha! I tried for the Discerning Eye exhibition a couple of years ago but did not get anywhere. I can see why they chose the well painting though. It is almost “naive art”, whimsical but at the same time compellingly rich and meaningfu. Don’t know if I can get to see the exhibition this time but I will try.l
