Back from vacation
For the second day absolutely disoriented about my life back in London. A week in a village in Italy felt more like a month. The only thing about the perfect time at Fuimelatte was that I did not have with me my oils. Here is the beautiful La Tour Orange, renovated and kept up lovingly by Jean-Pierre, that I stayed at during the week. Its windows open to the Lake Como and mountains surrounding it, the shortest river in Europe – Fuimelatte rushes down the mountain just past it…
Tomorrow hope to post on the progress of the portrait commission I’ve been working on a lot recently.

Welcome back Olha, what wonderful pen and ink sketches. I bet Italy was gorgeous. I once stayed at Limone on Lake Garda. Those Italian lakes are out of this world.
