Still settling in London after a very different sort of experience in the North of Italy. The perspective in fact made me think hard about changing a place to live – without leaving London, of course!  Will be looking at different neighbourhoods in the couple next weeks. Here’s a snapshot from the side walk of Southwark – by the Waterloo station, technically not a residential part of London, more like a jumping off point for those commuting into town through Waterloo. But I don’t plan to go that far. And of course it’s raining – something nearly welcoming after the constant40C heat of Como.
