Today spent happily taking in the rare sunlight in the yard of the Southwark cathedral, conveniently  next to all the  the Borough market, leisurely taking in late breakfast and early lunch, coffee, pint… indulging exceedingly, that’s what weekends are for.  In the afternoon made an image of shoppers at the  market green grocers stall ( it’s the mushrooms on the picture) to mark the well spent time.  Here I intentionally kept the brush stroke very loose,  almost as if I was painting with watercolours, not oils.
