Good for kiting
Had some great wind in our sales, or rather – wings – the other day when I took the butterfly-shaped kite for a fly in the park near Brick Lane. Managed to get it very high up – at full length of the twine, keep it there for a longest time possible, as well as not get it completely (just a bit) tangled up in the trees below. After having a good time in the park and the best coffee and a friendly chat with Nicola of Franze and Evans I guess I’ve not given up on my current neighbourhood just yet.
Just came across a really fun project by a Ukrainian performance artist Alina Kopytcia – making of a Rose Carpet on Lva Tolstogo (check it out, MindTheGap and LittleMissMoi!) (via Sasha Shagi).
