King’s college chapel, Cambridge

Took a day trip to Cambridge yesterday. It’s an easy hale from East London – Liverpool street station, noticed on the way (it was a work day)  large number of commuters  making the same trip,  just in reverse.  Can’t imagine commuting so far out even if for the most beautiful cottage in the middle of the bucolic countryside (it’s very-very pretty there nevertheless). In the centre of town the church at King’ college stands out as the most magnificent piece of Gothic architecture in my mind.  Under the grey heavy skies it changed its colour to shades of blue and became irresistible to paint.

Opened a new Etsy shop dedicated just to my daily paintings.
