Her subject matter is visual commentary on the simple daily life in East London. She has been painting professionally only for the past two years, but has received much positive feedback and has participated in this year’s Royal Academy salon.

A good piece of art is like a great song that you return to over and over again, without growing sick of it. And the plethora of online art sites can throw up some real finds.

One such evolving gem is 29-year-old London-based Ukrainian artist Olha Pryymak. A talented illustrator and water-colourist she has been painting in oils for just two years, but her brushwork, with touches of Expressionism, and her understanding of composition show tremendous promise.
