Broadgate across from Liverpool street station

Monday, January 10th, 2011

Another bigger painting that took longer to produce. Lots of red today, to steer away the Monday blues.

Red Bank II

Monday, November 8th, 2010

Finished this over the weekend, to the sparkles of the fireworks in the nearby Victoria Park. England celebrated Gay Fawkes day yesterday. This is second of the three images of the Threadneedle st. where it runs onto the Bank junction.

Red Bank I

Thursday, November 4th, 2010

Back on my favorite spot in the City – the Bank junction.  As in my last post, I am playing with the map here. Also currently I am very obsessed with color red, inspired by Thomas Lawrence now on show at the National Portrait Gallery (thanks for the tip, Katherine) so my Bank walls are a bit on fire, and the buses are at their brightest.
