DSH, 1685

Wednesday, January 12th, 2011

I am back to the cozy interiors of the Dennis Severs House.  I think I really fancy an idea of a fireplace in my house… No contributions to Etsy today, most likely all my DSH paintings are going to come together in an exhibit sometime very soon.

Giant Rabbit on Hackney road

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

This is a ROA’s painted rabbit on a snowy day. The joys of living in industrial part of London: some bold and  brilliant graffiti spring out from everywhere to please the eye. Today the snow stayed on the ground and the white all around brought up the bright colors.

St. Leonards Shoreditch

Friday, November 26th, 2010

Ive just realized I am into orange blue color combination this week. The (rarely) blue tall London skies and the red brick of Arnold Circus buildings, a ray of sun on the Shoreditch church  (the one from the nursery rhyme so masterfully illustrated by Paul Bonner).

Summer has arrived to Casa Blue on Brick Lane

Monday, April 27th, 2009

A season of frilly white dresses and big sunglasses has come! `Nevermind it’s bitterly cold and raining here today on Monday when I am posting this – yesterday was the first real sunny and warm weekend here in East End and here’s how i saw it. Also this weekend I blissfully planned a fabulous trip later in the summer (those things have to be planned way in advance) but will keep the destination a secret for  a while.

Alternative Fashion Week 2009 in London

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

I am not the first one to paint on the subject of Fashion week, check out Edward Gordon’s fabulous pieces. It just feels so overwhelmingly inspiring to watch the catwalk, everything from the designs to the work of photographers at the show. More to come.
