Vitamin D(6): Hackney road rider
Thursday, February 24th, 2011Have not seen the sun here in over a week. Reminiscing on the beauty of even the ugliest streets lit with soft sunshine. See the biker riding off into the sunrise.

Tuesday, November 30th, 2010Finally we saw some snow, just before it touched the ground and melted into slush. So I am looking only on the pretty fluffy treetops and the distant building in the haze here.
My pic with the Dennis Severs House paintings at the Lynn Painter Stainers show from last week are on Makingamark blog again.
Little Georgia, sunshine
Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010I bike past this little restaurant on Goldsmiths row every day. on this particular day sun really lit up the front and the only two tables outside. Because Cowling and Wilcox were practically giving away canvases for free last week, I got tempted to give it a go again. Must say though that I am a big fan of hardboard, majorly because the tactility of the paint over smooth surface is never the same on canvas; that play of oil viscosity over the glossy surface just makes all the difference to me.

At the Little Georgia on Goldsmiths Row
Sunday, May 31st, 2009Had dinner there Friday night; back In the Soviet times Georgian was pretty much the only "exotic" food one could get, now it only associates with nostalgic experiences, and great Georgian hospitality.
