			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A quick watercolour of the flower arrangement on my mother-in-law&#8217;s table (she is a great entertainer and decorator).</p>
<p>Was very pleased to see that the large painting I&#8217;ve been working all last month has been stretched and hung in its new home in the States.  Now figuring out what smaller paintings would accompany it better.</p>
<p>Saw a great deal of Sargent in DC  &#8211; two of his life sized portraits and two or three beautiful smaller paintings of his are on display at the National Gallery of Art.</p>
