A cute small place of organic food on Broadway market. The hangings above the produce looked of super bright color today in the full-on sunshine.

First really spring-like day today here. Have been enjoying the muddy park, hardly had the time to paint. Feel sorry for the guys in the morning rush to the office. At least some get their vitamin D through sun while waiting for the bus.

No vitamin D today, just cold rain in these parts.

While in transit, lots of time on my hands to think about how ideally I would like to get around town… Love the top floor of doubledecker – for the scenery around, and the bike – for the speed (fastest mode of transport around London, according to time out).

I often get comments on why do I leave out the detail of the face.  The reason is simple – when I saw this scene, the light was what is important in it, the bright rays of sunshine basing the pavement. People who cut though this light are here to emphasize it and demonstrate it’s beauty. They are part of the scene, but human faces are so powerful and so attractive to the eye, that if I focus on their faces, the scene will become about them rather then the light.

Having fun with the nocturnal views of the cozy pub on Villiers street in Embankment.

A darker picture today, with just a few silhouettes in the red light of the pub.  It still catches my eye, particularly after spending time in America, how people here freely spill out of pubs with their drinks in hands, making up for a quite unique London scene.

The wet streets of London after the major snowfall : not a bit of snow left on the ground, just the enormous reflection pool for street lights at dusk.
